I give slav a solid 8, as others have said he has made it exciting to be a west ham fan, for me pretty much the first time since 86 or maybe the unfulfilled promise of the harry years with rio, cole, carrick, lampard (yes lampard) et al.
confidence that going 1 or 2 down doesn't mean game over, drawing at old Trafford and being disappointed, marvelling that someone like Payet plays for us, these are massive strides for our club and our uber cool manager takes much of the credit.
but there is room to improve and like bubbles I felt a certain inevitability at the home loss to man utd in the cup and away at stoke on the last day, it's just years of conditioning I suppose.
so the next hurdle for slav to get over is winning matches with a real reward to them.
with a few additions and the experience of a successful 1st season behind him I really do believe even better times lie ahead.

9 - so close this season to a 10. Losing against worse teams was the only problem.

It all has to be relative to what has gone before. In the same way Allardyce is given credit by some on account of steadying the ship after Grant and years of mismanagement.
Did he better last season's league position? Yes. And along the way, he bettered our best ever points total and goals scored in the Premier League. 10/10.
Did he better the spirit and feel around the club? Without a doubt. 10/10.
Did he always get it right? No. 8/10 if you're being harsh. But there is nothing wrong with seeing room for improvement when we have still finished 7th. Better than being there having overachieved.
Transfer dealings? 9/10, maybe Emenike and Jelavic weren't great but personally I feel they filled a gap competently if unspectacularly.
Getting the best out of players? Again, maybe being harsh 8/10 - he's perhaps not been the revelation we'd have hoped in terms of bringing on the youth, and the use of Obiang still seems a bit peculiar.
But most of all, is it fun to be a West Ham supporter right now? Have we got something to be proud of? Absolutely. And that's no small achievement.
In total, a solid 9/10. How anyone can say otherwise is beyond me. And I still feel he could do better.

9/10. Only few poor performances in the whole season. Love his honesty, his passion, his fire in the belly, and had us playing some lovely football.
Can't wait to see his investments in the summer, and even better season because the base is there to build on.
